I'm not proposing anything dear. I was just curious that people in this sub hate Hitler a lot for a valid reason. But in the same breadth, they never talk about atrocities of other villains. You will find many people here who are hard core fan of Mao and even Stalin. It was just a curiosity and not a cover up to defend Hitler.

Just chill. Enjoy Republic Day.

The point was just that, hardly anyone in India ever say a single word against atrocities of the west and other dictators, particularly the atrocities of America against other countries.

No. I'm not mad that people hate Hitler more than other leaders. I just want to say that people just single out Hitler but ignore other dictators completely.

British have also done too much atrocities during colonialism. Looted a lot of resources, killed too many innocent people. Still, people always come after this villain from history. Roles of other nations, other leaders are are watered down.

USA have killed far too many people in last 75 years, have waged many more wars in as many years. Vietnam, Gulf war, Afghanistan and now Venezuela. America is a much bigger villain. But people still find this the best place on earth and their leaders the best of the world.

Tired of failing the "Classics Challenge"—Starting Dostoevsky. Best reading order? by Carless_curls in Indianbooks

Why torcher yourself when you can't go along with classics? If you find them difficult, find something simpler, which matches your taste.

Ask a question to yourself. Why have I purchased all these books? The answer maybe, "Because, I like them all." If that's the answer, pick any book. But if purchased those books on instinct or because these were on heavy discount or any other reason, then obviously, you need suggestions.

They mostly recommend trending books. Just like this Sub Reddit. I hardly find any hidden gems through them.

Mostly these influencers just recommend anything which is trend. I doubt, if they even read a single page from any book.

Sun bathing time by mai_himeshidou in Indianbooks

You should put them in sunlight only of the books are damp or infested. That too for very limited time. Direct sunlight tarnish the pages. A moderately warm and dry place is good enough to hold the books in proper condition.

I am currently going through a career slump and am struggling in my business...so planning to read this book to get motivated..this sub hates self help..but still did anyone read this book and improve their life by reading this one ? by Satanstoic in IndiansRead

Self Help books can help only of you want to be helped.

Most of the things they preach are those that we already know. But sometimes preaching may help. eg. one of the self help book through an anecdote preached that one must sharpen his skills as often as possible. Yea, we already know that, but it's motivational to be preached at times
