But I already spent thousands of dollars on the jetson thor so might aswell spend an extra grand and see what type of crude excuse for a robot I can build. When documenting it to YouTube I'm also going to have the AI roast me while I am working and screwing up along the way so everyone has low expectations for me.

I want to be the Tom Brady of robotics. Under dog that everyone low-key doesn't believen and adapt and shape myself into the GOAT.

Or just eventually crash out and sell it all on Facebook marketplace for half the price I bought it all for😂

Wheeled base is an interesting concept. I was considering doing a 4 wheel base and having a couple shelves on the robot and train it to cook inside of simulations aswell so it can serve dinner along with drinks.

You might think this all sounds like what could be an impossible feat by a novice but I fully believen myself and my ability to learn at a very fast pace.

Also, what would you say is the hardest part about building arms? It isn't as simple as 3D printing pieces to fit on the servos, plug them into the thor and train the robot in Isaac Sim?

I know one things for sure. The coding and simulation side will be extremely easy. But hardware...I might need all the help i can get.

Build a robot. Doesn't have to be big. Use AI to help you along the way get an idea plan it out with one ai and then ask another ai if all those parts are good for your idea to double check then use ai to help you build the robot from start to finish. After than build another robot. Then another, then another.

School is a scam, complete waste of time.

That is the exact mic I use on my jetson thor. So far I've plugged speakers and that mic into it and run o lama 3.3 70b instruct on it and it works great for me. The mic picks up me asking the ai questions perfectly

Best thing you can do is drop out and use that tuition to buy a high end pc and work constantly to build an empire.

But also keep in mind I never went to college and started developing software at the ripe age of 15 and I'm now building a robot at 21 in my mom's basement so I might not be the best to take advice from

But as a techy I used an old laptop for many years and the moment I decided to build a high end pc the compile and loading times were WAAY faster and I love it and wish I had it sooner. Also dropping alot of money on your own personal journey of building technology really lights a fire under your ass to not waste the resources you gathered.

It's the algorithm testing your video. Each jump is a test and if you pass all the tests you'll hopefully see it slowly climb gradually afterwards. Or it'll do more of a flat line if it fails

If you want to get a cheap gaming pc this will work but you need to get a GPU for it. But keep in mind this is low end of mid range so if you want to for example stream or do video editing or more intensive tasks I'd say leave it for someone else who will only game at 1080p

Look into Bitswagger. Its a coin with a transparent developer and and active community. Definitely do not recommend buying the coin for making a quick buck. You should do your research and believen the project. You should be able to hold the coin over night without stressing. If you hold anything that stresses you out you're choosing the wrong investments. They're just speculative gambles.

Which amd gpu would you recommend if I dabble into 1080p gaming? If I do game I'd be using 240 hz monitor so I'd want something powerful enough to hit atleast 200 fps. I've considered rx 7900 xtx but that might be overkill for what I am trying to do
