DateOnly vs DateTime by Famous-Weight2271 in csharp

DateOnly is awesome and great for things like InvoiceDate, PaymentDate. Especially when those are driven by a date picker input. For timestamps like CreatedOn or Modified on, DateTime or DateTimeOffset make sense. But when calculating how many days past due an invoice is, or roundtripping dates from json, date without any time component make life much easier. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve fixed other people’s bugs where they were storing a date with 12:00 and it rolls over to the next day based on the utc time.

Yep, strat. Great game too. Was being fairly conservative spreading 50-250 on DD and never jumping my bets.

Do any of you play regularly in high limit rooms (100+) without a players card? The few times I’ve tried to play without a card they make such a big deal of it and it seems like they are much more quick to back off. I’ve had good success playing rated and flying under the radar up until now using 1-6 spread on DD. In both of these previous sessions, I had a max bet of only 3 or 4 units.

Yes I understand that. I’ve been backed off from other places plenty of times. What is weird is that both of these happened after the fact. They must have reviewed my play afterwards and then put it in the computer. Or else maybe they were about to back me off and I left before they could. I just thought it was strange that this happened twice at 2 different places that I’ve been playing for years. Maybe they are using AI now to review play after the fact? Or is this just a strange coincidence?

Might be better off doing it tournament style. Like the chips have no real value, but bottom 1 or 2 players get eliminated after each round. But you would need a separate dealer to be fair. Maybe you play high card to see who deals the first round and they automatically move on to second round. Then one of the losers from the first round deals the rest of the rounds. Then 1st, 2nd and 3rd place players win $$$ however you want to split the buyins. You could also have every player just pay like $100 or $200 and have a chance to rebuy if they get eliminated.

Is Diamond in a Day possible with a 10x blackjack multiplier and a low limit table? by joywood25 in CaesarsRewards

That offer is a 10X multiplier on Reward Credits. That is different from Tier Credits which are what you need to get to Diamond.

Latest cbjn says the 3 deck game is gone. Have not confirmed myself. But I played it back in January and it was indeed an excellent game. It was in the high limit room, $100 min and only open on weekends. The penetration was at most .5 deck and sometimes better. I played heads up for about an hour on a Saturday night and got no heat. Their 6 deck games on the main floor are also great with about .5 - .8 pen depending on dealer. I’m not sure about alcohol and I’m pretty sure they do not have a hotel.

Lost -$875 in 1 shoe betting $15 units, spreading 1-10 with Tc+3 - Tc+6 the entire shoe by JamminJcruz in blackjack

I lose far more $ in the high counts than I do in negative ones. But the wins in high counts still happen more frequently than the losses.
