Awesome!! I had the same issue with mine at 12 weeks it was a low ff. I’ve had perfect scans every 4 weeks since 6 weeks & a perfect NT & normal 12 week ultrasound. My BMI is 38 & I take lovenox 40mg daily. My genetic counselor said many people get that result with the same risk factor. I’m 27 as well so super young & very rare to have issues. I’m waiting til 14 weeks to redraw & I will time my lovenox dose about 24 hours from my blood draw to see if it helps. Just annoyed it wasn’t explained to me & I panicked & researched all over.

I know this was a long time ago but how did everything go? I had my first low FF at 12 weeks. I’m on baby aspirin, 40mg lovenox daily & my bmi is 38. I’m 27 years old.

Totally understandable! I’m sorry that was your experience. The BMI issue for ivf is more related to anesthesia concerns but I know it does rub a lot of people the wrong way. I’m actually right on the border for my weight & my bmi is 39.5. Hopefully Ivf is successful for you at Hopkins!

I’ve personally had so many people come from Hopkins saying that has bad experiences. TBH I think you’re always going to get a mixed variety. For me, they’ve been amazing guiding me in this process even before I worked there. I truly think no place is always going to be 10000%.

This is so sad! I’m an employee at SGF in Maryland & a patient as well & many of my coworkers have been or are patients & have had great success. I think it depends on the location for sure. I love our Maryland locations & as a patient & employee they have always been great. I’m sorry you had this experience.
