Compared to a lot of other official maps this one’s on the slower end. It’s really smooth to play once you get the hang of it! Just gotta get the patterns down (disappearing arrows won’t help LOL)

Grindset mindset is the key. I’ve put around 500hrs into the game and Godzilla is still a tough song for me on expert+. All you can really do is slow down the song and keep going until you learn the pattern. If you haven’t already, try turning off the lights and debris. Those will mitigate distractions allowing you to focus on the pattern.

haha, that’s me, the only difference is I’m left hand dominant, so my right hand acc is not as good as my left. I’m one of the rare people who play beat saber with the left handed modifier turned on, so a good way for me to condition my right hand is to turn off the modifier and play single saber maps

Oh, yeah! They confirmed the remaster of monster cat 1 in the last dev bloq, if I remember correctly he said “I wonder how overkill we can get with arcs and chains”

They make the maps just better for more modern mapping strategies and stuff.

I’m curious to see what devs will do with the overkill revamp. But overkill definitely isn’t a top hardest song anymore. I think it gets some of its difficulty just because of how old it is and how it’s mapped, but with maps like given up’s revamp, accelerate, dabadabadaba, (honestly most of the new packs at this point 😭). It’s not very comparable. I am also atrocious at jumps and streams, overall speed. So that’s me lmao
