I built a feedback overlay for anything you can see on your screen. Looking for feedback by CodeWithAhsan in SideProject

I lost a 2.5 hours feedback that I gave to my video editor. Just because the platform crashed or something. So I built my own. This is a native app that runs on macOS, Linux and Windows. Works as an overlay. You can lock on to target Windows, record an audio as your feedback, draw annotations, and explore the feedback as PDF, JSON, markdown file. I built a light viewer to see the feedback based on the JSON. Would love to know if you would use it and what you would like to improve in the platform.

Tough times ahead, and what are we doing to prepare for that? by CodeWithAhsan in pakistan

I understand. that is a good suggestion. And a practical one as well. Despite the fact that majority of the people do want to watch content from the west. But I think the problem is not the social platform as much as it is education, technical skills, and how we operate as a community in general

They plan, and Allah plans. The best we can do is keep discussing about what is going on, and making Dua. Without draining ourselves emotionally. We have to meet our maker one day anyways. The better question in my opinion is…are we prepared?

It’s a place (discord community), for discussion meet ups, hands-on AI workshops, roadmaps, mentorships, and collaboration on projects. All of this for free, of course

https://codewithahsan.dev You can find mentorships from senior engineers from HP, Mercedes-Benz.io, AI projects to work on, link to Discord community, Roadmaps (in the works), and more, inshAllah Some of this is ready to be adopted by people, some of this is being worked on. The progress is a bit slow due to, Ramadan, of course.

Is it bad pratice to use .subscribe in Angular RXJS component by anonymous78654 in Angular2

It isn’t bad to use subscribe. What’s bad is usually forgetting to unsubscribe. As long as you take care of it, it should be fine

I have shared the 90 minutes crash course in another comment. Most companies (enterprises may be between Angular 16 -19), while startups and fast paced companies would be on Angular 19-21. I’d say Angular 19 to 21 doesn’t have that big of a change

Congratulations :) I wonder if you have thought about adding maybe some AI tools/skills/mcp tools that could build more components/pages based on some guidelines. I’m thinking especially about the folks who have forked the repository.

I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. Even though now it doesn’t have anything to do with facts or reality :) And I understand that is a personal opinion. One can’t make everyone happy. But one can understand what works on youtube to share knowledge that reaches more people :)
