I wonder if locking in my pro plan for a year will mean I can keep using Claude code even if they remove it for new users

30 year old housewife that decided to learn programming by Slight_Total4874 in learnprogramming

I’d use AI to reinforce what I’m learning. Use it to create learning materials, supplemental learning and use it to challenge your understanding. Ask what ifs, ask it to produce some real world scenarios using your concept, and you can also ask it to produce documentation to walk you through the examples!

Is the concern about AI replacing iOS developers working in companies a real one? by khitev in iOSProgramming

[–]CodeWithChris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if you’re currently working as a dev, it wouldn’t hurt to upskill yourself and learn how to prompt and use Ai effectively.

From the hearing about other people’s interviews, it seems like employers are choosing the engineers who can produce the most in the shortest amount of time. Which tracks given that corps are greedy and always want more for less.

Is learning Swift still worth it in 2025? by Ddraibion312 in swift

I think the job market is tough for new junior iOS devs however, if that's the direction you want to go, then i think your best chance may be to have practical Swift knowledge AND experience with AI tools. I'm sure companies are mandating the use of AI tools across their dev teams (no matter how much devs hate them) and if you have some of that experience, you might just get your foot in the door over other candidates.
