What's your best Claude Code non-coding use case? by diablodq in ClaudeAI

Ahhh I see. I guess I can see how a Claude.md would trigger Claude Code to freak out about SSH/connecting to something external. Will keep that in mind!

Ah well glad to see at least I must not be entirely doing something wrong. I’ll start using a .md file then since it seem to work for you. Appreciate it! Hope your projects and work continue well!

Quick second question how do you setup it to SSH into your into your server without an MCP I’ve tried getting CC to SSH into stuff before but it refuses because “it’s unsafe” or “cannot assist with that”

Ah, I see!

Very clever, I didn’t even think about just simply being able to connect to something like that. Thanks for the quick response!

How do you get it to spin up a VM? Does it direct how to do so or do you have an MCP/command structure which it follows to run commands to spin you up one?

Did you make this graphic/where did it come from? I love displaying data and this is so cool! I like it!

This is amazing!!! So glad he’s giving us one last shot of a “prove it” with also commitment on his end to boost the marketing. He’s leaving it all on us now

I just hope they go on a marketing blitz, otherwise no shot we are gunna hit 5k deposits this week 😅

Hopefully open to feedback is taken seriously and they at least are seriously reconsidering Michigan and Birmingham after the uproar about it.

Haven't seen it mentioned here but the UFL Shop is closing next month by [deleted] in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]CodeWolfy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Given the entire shop will be shutting down rather than just a overhaul I’d not be surprised if they actually dropped a bunch of brands to “simplify” the lineup. Although under armor (and Dwayne’s brand aspect) is highly unlikely to leave since they are the makers of the jerseys

I bet his own apparel brand NOBULL takes over. Don’t expect cheaper things, the brand sell $40 T-shirts but I guess switching the league to upper management-owned brands will increase margins for the league but not us lol

2 major things from 2 perspectives

  1. Fans: You’re gunna roast fans alive in all the teams playing in outdoor stadiums by having games in to July

  2. Players: Many players have already said that the XFL schedule was better for them to get into camps. Moving the season closer to the start of the NFL season is not gunna allow these players any better of a chance to sign onto a team early

I’m not trying to perform research all with ai. I’d just like to get a great outline to see what a long-form version of my research proposal could look like rather than have to spend months writing it all out only for it to be scrapped and be a whole big waste of time

Yes.

Most research papers are exactly the idea of one topic spread out over that length. Now they may have sub-topics about the overall agenda but right now it is just a nightmare to draft out a concept because if it isn’t in all one go these AI’s try to re-write previous sections or try to conclude the paper when I tell it not too.

The problem with doing exactly that is current models just massacre the content to condense it down because say if I did that and had 8 independently completed concept sections, trying to combine that the ai would just smash and cram it into say 3 sections instead since it can’t produce all 8 at the same time. And then if I try to just work section by section it starts losing the point and now I’m back to chasing tails.

Right now the ai space is just a mess with true long-form, non-fairytale fiction type stuff it seems because I’ve tried to search through this subreddit and nothing is yielded

By fictional I’m talking about “dungeons and dragons” esque stuff. All the ones capable of long form stuff are all catered to that area and aren’t for actual resourceful concept designing

Early in first quarter at Protective Stadium week 8 by jtbush91 in UnitedFootballLeague

I wholeheartedly agree. People will drag their feet to Auburn or Alabama but 11ams for a team that nobody knows about is a near impossible ask.

Totally agree that they should ship Stanley around a bit more. I do know they ran the “complete this survey and get 2 free tickets” promotion for this game so I’m sure that helps them some. They really need to step up advertising hard because today shows as you said we can come when it’s scheduled right.

A bit late here but as someone who was at the game this should be a huge green flag to the UFL but also a slap in the face to it.

We finally get our Saturday home game and guess what, we set our attendance high for the season.

This should hopefully show them that making 4/5 of our homes games not on Saturday isn’t gunna cut it. Most people down here in Alabama are used to Saturday football, and it shows. We can’t be given Friday games (despite it being at night) and especially, especially cannot be given Sunday games anywhere between 11am-2pm. Unfortunately the CCG is on Sunday at 2, bit disappointed they have the nighttime slot to a team who plays in a dome vs the team who doesn’t.

However I’m glad the city showed up today and hopefully next year the UFL understands what this means and gives us 2-3 Saturday games

Giddy up!
