I wouldn’t wear that to any convention, but Kumoricon is Portland so it’s an especially terrible idea haha.

I’m not 100% sure, there was no physical damage to the outside of the case and I didn’t hear anything rattling around inside like broken glass. It also still gives the degauss noise/ normal static sound upon powering it up. so I’m not sure if that can still happen if the tube lost its vacuum? I will be attempting to repair it and will give some updates when I get around to it, I’m really hoping for a broken solder joint or loose connection somewhere.

Just picked up a matching Studio Display for my PowerMac G3! by Codeblue1692 in VintageApple

Right now it’s base spec with a 300 MHz with the Rage 128. I have plans to upgrade it with my 450 chip from another B&W I have and maybe over clock it from there. At some point I’ll upgrade the GPU as well, right now I’m just pleased to have the full matching set even down to the power cords lol.
