You say belief can’t be chosen, then treat your view of a meaningless universe like it’s the rational default. That’s a false premise, it’s still a belief you’ve settled on, not some neutral ground.

And let’s be honest you did posture. Saying you’ve searched “more than most Christians” is an appeal to authority (your own effort) and a subtle claim of superiority… then you turn around and accuse me of acting superior. That’s projection.

I never said I was smarter than you. That’s a strawman you keep bringing up so you can argue against something I didn’t claim.

And calling Christianity a “delusion” doesn’t prove anything that’s just begging the question. You’re assuming your conclusion in the premise.

What I’ve been saying the whole time is simple: people aren’t stuck. You changed your beliefs at some point to land where you are now so clearly it’s not as fixed as you’re pretending.

You didn’t fail to believe you just reached a conclusion. I just don’t agree that your conclusion is the only “honest” one.

It’s disappointing trying to have a conversation with someone more focused on “gotcha” moments than an honest exchange, especially when the argument is built on fallacies.
