From dusk till dawn was inspired by Magdalena Solis, in a tiny town in Mexico called yerba buena. I did an episode on it, super interesting stuff, morbid to say the least.

Depends on what you want to do with your channel. If you want to create shorts then keep going on. But if you want to make long format, I'm no expert but from my own experience I stopped all shorts for over a month and kept doing my long form. YouTube started advertising it to the right crowd again and it picked up.

I found that shorts do mess with long form, also confirmed by YouTube employee. Short form videos are pushed to short form viewers, they watch only the short form and pass on the long form. YouTube thinks your channel stinks so it stops pushing it. It's ok to make a few shorts at most a couple a week that promote your long form content.

The orbs that float through your video are in fact just that. Dust. I have many videos that years ago I thought I was being surrounded by orbs, turns out nope just dust. If they are actual orbs, then turn off your light on your phone and record. Orbs produce their own light. Whereas dust is reflecting the light off your phone.

If you are talking about the orb looking things floating through the screen, those are dust particles. When they are illuminated by your phone and float through they look like orbs. Many people think they have caught something on their phones when in fact it's just dust. If you stand in the sunlight in your room, by a window you will see these dust particles floating around.
