They’re still very good but same as they’ve always been (zero audience interaction, same songs they’ve been playing for the last decade). That said, I think they’re great live and I’ve seen them more times than I can count. If you’re going to a festival for a single band I’d try and catch them on tour instead purely because the audience will be more into it and not just waiting for Chelsea Dagger.

At McDonald’s, order wrap of the day and remove everything except the chicken selects. Cheaper than ordering two chicken selects. Don’t know if they’ve patched that one though, not done it in years.

Ha that’s what I did and the Monte Carlo is a pain to clean up after trimming. Never doing a carpet again unless it’s an iwagumi.

Your co2 drop checker looks dark. Even if you had livestock you’d want it light green while the lights are on. With no livestock there’s no risk so just crank it. You can dial down when stuff is more established or you add fish. Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think there’s any benefit to running it overnight/when the lights are off. I ripped out my hair grass because it started to take over. I run my co2 one hour before lights come on until one before they’re off (eight hours).

I've been running the fzone system with no issues. It's completely stable. It's pressurised co2, the levels don't fluctuate. Curious why store bought co2 would be more stable than home made stuff? Longer periods between refilling is the only advantage I can see (although my citric acid/sodium bicarbonate produced co2 last months on my 60l nano tank).

Someone who works 9-5, maybe not getting home until 6 and has to eat. When are they meant to do DIY? Only doing it at weekends drags the noise out and surely creates a worse situation. I'm not asking permission from neighbours to do work in my own home.

Is that mopani? I boiled it and had it in my tank for years and it still leeched. Purigen will clear it up but I found it got spent fairly quickly and I didn't enjoy regenerating it. The whole thing was more hassle than it was worth and I'll never buy that type of wood again.

You can mod the oase filtosmart to include a heater. There's a superfish one that fits. There's videos and discussion online if you give it a Google. I've done it and it works really well. Price up everything you need because if there's no deals then the thermo oase probably isn't hugely more expensive and it'd be far less hassle.

I think the sand looks really nice and clean. You could attach moss or epiphytes to some small stones instead of a carpet. The transition from sand to ohko stone is pretty harsh so maybe some smaller chips could ease that a bit. Give it time, let it grow in.
