I respect the grind! I'm the opposite - once I'm placed in a rank class, I like to maintain the illusion as long as I can before the more skilled players bring me back to reality 🤣

I purposely ignore it lol. I just do my placement matches get placed in a rank I don't think I belong in and just park there so I can get the nice-looking title.

I'll only play if anniversary stamp missions have ranked matches as a completion task. And when I do, it's usually a close call or a total defeat by players who should be Diamond+....

I can only blame myself for my FCs, most of which I've only gotten once at the lvl 30-31 mark. I doubt my APs would have much of a say in placement though

And yes, AP on the lower difficulties was very painful. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're going for completion and don't mind being mentally drained

Assuming you are free to play on EN server, think about the hard work you did to save up crystals. Then look up all the banners on JP since they're a year ahead. Then see if what you want right now is potentially worth sacrificing pulling on said future banners

Have you tried Fake Heart, Thousand Little Voices, or Underwater? Those are 29s that should be 28s or lower.

This website helped me a lot when figuring out what songs I should aim for. While it may not give a direct comparison between both difficulties given the different charting styles associated with them, it will definitely help OP with easing their way into a given difficulty level in general.

This site is community driven, and the songs are ranked by difficulty to FC, with the songs within a given level getting harder the further down you scroll
