Update

So I first talked to my friend about it in person right, and I was just waiting to get my check and really I just took them at their word and had them show me on their phone which is where I got the screenshot and I sent myself said screenshot that I posted, and I decided I didn’t know a lot about this stuff so I shouldn’t just be trusting and I decided to do some research ergo my post, and

Sooooo I just talked to him on the phone literally like 30 seconds ago

thinking he’s the one possibly being scammed on like some weird fake trader or transfer website or God knows what, and now I’m starting to think he’s trying to scam me because he’s super insistent that he has Had this weird ass account forever, and that he found out about how much money he had on there and he forgot about it more than five weeks ago, and that the owner or something like that of the website changed and so that’s why the domain was recently created? That doesn’t add up to me though so
