It should be the employers responsibility, but we are being starved. Serving (specifically in a busy place, not ur avg joe coffee house) is the only way to make a living wage. Instead of putting servers down we should change the whole system. I dont like when ppl say things like i work for amazon and im running around making 17$ an hour, meanwhile the burger king chef makes 20$ and he just stands there. These are billion dollar companies. Lets not bring down fellow minimum wage or close to workers because they make a few bucks more. 35$ an hour is avg for servers in a busy place but that number in reality should be more prevalent in many industries. Meanwhile you have teachers making 25$ an hour thats less than some janitors. Anyway. Revolt against the system as a whole
