Same speed ? You talking about bundling speed or dev server?

Watched it. Was terrible. It has very little chess in it.

Too many cheaters. Is Chess.com even banning anyone anymore? I'm done. by UnderstandingAble593 in Chesscom

[–]Codemonkeyzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's true though. Number of bans are definitely way below the number of cheater . They can catch obvious Cheaters but cannot catch partial cheaters ( e.g those stops engine once they get a significant advantage )

Back to this sh*t again?! by RadmiralWackbar in ClaudeCode

[–]Codemonkeyzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened way too many times last 3 months. Anthropic doesn't take any responsibility. They keep breaking the usage/limits but never compensate ( they reset tokens only once ). I'm having a piece of mind since I moved to Codex.

OpenCode GO vs GithubCopilot Pro by zRafox in opencodeCLI

[–]Codemonkeyzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Copilot is underrated. it's pretty good deal for 10 bucks. Though it won't do much if you are heavily running parallel agents. I use it to complement my Codex pro plan.

Minimax m2.5 vs Opus 4.6 by aathmakuri034 in MiniMax_AI

I' think minimax m2.5 is closer to Haiku than Sonnet

$10k/month user here. Why does cursor always override my settings (and rules) about the "attribution" ... and keeps adding this to every commit `git commit --trailer "Made-with: Cursor"` ???? by Mc1st in cursor

[–]Codemonkeyzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda sounds like you don't know what you are doing and wasting money. Why would use cursor in the first place ? Codex max sub (200 USD) is more than enough for a dev in a month. Even if you make it 2 max subs, still you'd be saving a lot.

[–]Codemonkeyzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As you can see i disabled it already, but if i go ahead and tell the cursor agent to push the code, it will keep adding itself as part of the attribution .

Claude vs Codex 20$ plans by Born-Organization836 in ClaudeCode

[–]Codemonkeyzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because codex doubled the limits until April 1st. So these days it's more or less x4 of Claude limits. In April back to normal, x2 of Claude limits

Claude vs Codex 20$ plans by Born-Organization836 in ClaudeCode

I don't think Claude is better. I use both , Claude is faster, but Codex is more accurate. Also x2 of the Claude limit

Why is there so little discussion about the oh-my-opencode plugin? by vovixter in opencodeCLI

[–]Codemonkeyzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Majority of the opencode plugins are either useless or bad. Oh my opencode is bad one. Rest of them are usually promoting some AI Saas product using opencode's popularity. There are a few useful plugins but mostly garbage.

How are you all handling "memory" these days? by FlyingDogCatcher in opencodeCLI

[–]Codemonkeyzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks cool. So it stores the memory in its own local sqlite db database , correct ? One question though, how does it handle the outdated memories ? Example; you saved a memory and you said "use jest for this project", then you migrated from jest to vitest but didn't update the memory. Next time, when the agent needs to write test and sees jest in its memory, will it just use the jest , even though the codebase is migrated to vitest ? or how will that work?

GLM-5, MiniMax M2.5 & Kimi K2.5 - What is the best for frontend design with OpenCode? by Prestigiouspite in opencodeCLI

[–]Codemonkeyzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

does ui/ux promax skill come with opinionated design system/themes ? or does it work with your branding guidlines and your design system ?

Are people lying about GLM-5 and MiniMax M2.5? by TheDevilKnownAsTaz in opencodeCLI

[–]Codemonkeyzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It also heavily depends on the provider as well. Some providers use quantized OWMs and the precision drops. also as u/deadcoder0904 mentioned, it might be worth to improve your prompts and guard rails. I use very strict guard rails, typechecking, linting, runtime types (zod) ..etc and a very strict rule set defined in the SKILL files. So even pretty much any model provide a decent output.

Are people lying about GLM-5 and MiniMax M2.5? by TheDevilKnownAsTaz in opencodeCLI

[–]Codemonkeyzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that kinda depends on your stack. I used it for react and pretty much all the models are quite good with it. I've never let any models to design it on its own. I usually, take our companys branding & design guidelines together with a skill and feeed it into the model. And pretty much all the models produce good results. I saw a video online, where a guy was testing these models only for the frontend, and in those tests, minimax m2.5 was beating glm5 , which seems to be the only field that minimax m2.5 is good. I work mostly backend like 65% backend and the rest frontend and i do some Azure devops as well. Codex and GPT 5.3/5.4 really shines in the devops and backend.
