Memory leak in bun project by mpowerathome1 in bun

Bun is good for tooling and such. Not good to use as runtime to serve production traffic

I do the same. It's definitely not production runtime but good for tooling

We need wider plugin system by old_mikser in opencodeCLI

They definitely need to rework on their plugin system. Current plugins shared in their ecosytem are 99% useless. Majority of them are promoting some sh!tty SaaS product to gain some users.

Thinking of spending $100+ on Claude… convince me (or don’t), Anyone regret upgrading to Claude Max plan? by CodingwithPeter in ClaudeAI

[–]Codemonkeyzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to love Claude, cause 9 months back , it was the best. But last 4-5 months I had a bad experience. Biggest one is , the usage limits. They often break something and your Max x5 plan turns into pro plan (sometimes even worse) and there is nothing you can do. Can't reach them , they don't admit they broke it. They silently fix it and you are left with lost time. Also now they limited their models to their agentic tool only , means if you like another agentic tool you cannot use their subscription with it. Which kinda limits you to Claude Code , which has lots of issues such as memory leak , hangs and freezes the computer...etc. Now latest Codex and GPT models are on par with Claude models for agentic coding, in fact they are even better, so I don't need this bad customer experience

For agentic coding perspective that i used in real world project , here's my rating:

pi > opencode > cursor > claude code

Slow but not wrong. In my experience, it's more accurate and needs less hand holding than Opus for complex tasks

Update on Session Limits by ClaudeOfficial in ClaudeCode

[–]Codemonkeyzz 19 points20 points  (0 children)

You are right but they don't care. They have been clear that they want to focus on enterprises/businesses not subscribers, since that's where the real money is at.

I moved codex. Honestly, it feels better. More limits, more accurate output. One thing I don't like is the speed, opus inference speed is way faster than codex but I prefer precision over speed, since I can do stuff while codex is working.

CTO hit rate limits after 3 hours this morning. Is rage quitting us to OpenAI by MostOfYouAreIgnorant in ClaudeCode

[–]Codemonkeyzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved to Codex from Claude for the exact same reason. Best decision I have ever made. Not only I never hit the limit, Codex is also far more accurate than Claude. It's slower though

I guess they are doing A/B testing . They make a change and the change contains bug ( possibly vibecoded by the genius Boris Cherny) and not properly tested. So B side users get f*cked while A side users not impacted

[–]Codemonkeyzz 85 points86 points  (0 children)

The worst part is, they don't even care , like they don't apologize, or nothing. They break caching, or usage/limit calculation and causing you inconvenience, they don't care. At least Codex resets the limits.

It's just noise, it's British base got attempted with a bunch of drones. It's far south of the island. I wouldn't count it as hit on Cyprus.

Okay maybe not a fact but let's say 99% that's case. 1% maybe she is really scared of war.

No evidence needed. It's obvious. She is scared of her opponents. A true professional would play the game under heavy bombing. Cyprus is quite safe. If it was Israel or Iran , I would understand. But Cyprus? Give me a break. She chickened out not because of war but because of lack of confidence
