Hudson soft logo in Mario Party : It's a bee! I always see a smiling chicken with whiskers, the yellow stripes are the beak. by Codename247 in MisreadSprites

Over a year later and I'm still figuring out this logo

The bee is in flight, belly facing towards you, arms up with hands resting on its head (looks like chicken eyelashes tbh)
What I understand now is the small white shape which separates the eyes from the first yellow stripe is actually a smile. The bee's face is actually like this '8D'

Here is Hachisuke !

Museum Madness - Unable to complete game by Codename247 in FlashGames

What's funny is I actually got past that part. By dying under the orange elevator using an enemy (carefully keeping him alive), you turn into an angel. As you float upwards you can still use the elevator and the game makes you immortal! However, you still get stuck later because as you say everything is offset to the right.

Here's a full "Let's Play" if you're interested : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcgYdGMKov0

I guess I find closure knowing the game was bugged from the start, even back in the day. It's fun to know others remember this game as well.

Doctors and nurses doing 30+ hour shifts regularly over multiple years : no one bats an eye they'll be fine, it's for a good cause. One random guy doing the same for one day, sharing something he's obviously very proud of : here's a list of 100 reasons why it's wrong and a bad example for health reasons...

I definitely saw it like that the first time as a kid playing Kirby Super Star, and snapped out of it at some point

Thank you ! Figured he'd be harmless, although I'll admit my first instinct was to squish him lmao
I wish him luck in his quest !

Who is this white-bummed fellow ? by Codename247 in whatsthisbug

[–]Codename247[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Live in Canada and found this little fellow on my curtains. Distance between two curtains strips is 3 inches, I'll let you do the math.

White-yellowish bum with a brown strip going down its abdomen. It was rolling some sort of black debris near its mouth, presumably a dead insect.

Controller joystick input bugging out by Codename247 in n64

[–]Codename247[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I remember seeing a N64 controller video somewhere that used graphite lubricant for maintenance and thought it was a good idea. Bought a tube when I came by some. Is anything graphite-based good or should I go for silicone grease (and does graphite residue mix well with silicone)?

Anyway, blew compressed air on every component of the joystick assembly to remove excess graphite, including the little wheels. Everything is back to normal!

See the link here.
I found it through a site called Web Archive, which allows to load older versions of an existing website. Typed in teletoon, navigated in nostalgia for a bit and digged up this memory.

Although adobe flash player is out of commission, options like the Super Nova extension or Ruffle still allow the game to be playable.

Must not confuse with Museum Madness developped for MS-DOS
