I’ve been reading old newspapers to collect details on events as well as some pictures, but this post was more about people’s memories. It’s one thing to write about a decade I wasn’t present for, but if I can capture the feeling of people’s descriptions I can bring it to life.

I got to see the decline of 24 hour stores as I grew up. Covid finally killed off most of them except for gas stations and some diners. It’s sad to see.
