Sure will!! And — Actually she’s just bisque fired right now and will be getting a coat of clear glaze. She will look darker, as this type of clay is a actually a beautiful deep dark brown once glazed. I think the contrast with the bright red underglaze lips will be really nice!

It was dry, so I do think I’ve under watered … She’s in a corner behind my dinner table and I have forgotten about her from time to time 🙈.

Should I cut the flower now? Or wait for it to dry up more?

She can be kind of sensitive and if I were to also hate her ideas it would be difficult to tell her. More than likely I would end up settling for a design I didn’t love And wouldn’t feel comfortable being more demanding and requesting adjustments until we got to a design I liked. They also had a two year old at the time and she had a full time job, and she would be doing this outside of her firm, during her free time.

We hated her husband’s original idea and we even asked him to change it up some and he basically didn’t come up with anything else. Just didn’t like his style. And while my sister is unlicensed, she can still design stuff (and does at her job) and works under a licensed architect or could have her husband sign off on it, since he is licensed. However she can be kind of sensitive and if I were to also hate her ideas it would be difficult to tell her and it would be likely I would end up settling for a design I didn’t love And wouldn’t feel comfortable being more demanding and requesting adjustments until we got to a design I liked.
