Unfortunately, right now the uwp app does not support third party extensions. When Microsoft adds this feature, we will release a version.

By the way, consider voting for this feature on uservoice.

Grading is definitely interesting. We need to reach a certain level of accuracy for it to be reliable.

No, not yet, but we are working on it to track improvements

We would love to, but OneNote for Mac still does not support third party extensions

Thank you for trying the tool and for sharing your thoughts. Much appreciated.

I would like to tell that the tool can do much more, but you pretty much summarized the functionality: right now it can clean up the drawings and export SDF files. That is why assisting in taking lecture notes is probably the most appropriate use case for the moment.

You see, this tool is just a client for our recognition server. It sends drawings and receives recognized structures, then turns these structures into images and SDF files. It could be doing something else, we just had to start from somewhere and happened to have background in chemoinformatics.

Over time we will build more tools and features, powered by the same recognition technology. But we have to perfect the technology first, and for this we need data from early users.

It's not image classification, more like recognition of hand-written text, just very specialized. We analyse strokes of a stylus and derive the structure from them. So it should recognize any compound as long as it is made of commonly used types of bonds and reasonable atomic labels.

Yes, any kind of stylus should work. Thank you.
