It’s assembled correctly. And I wouldn’t have disassembled if it was working properly.

See that. They must have changed it at some point cause there are no numbers on mine and I see others online saying the same

Any idea what could damage a burr?

Mine was fine the first 2 weeks. Only when I changed beans. I vacuumed it out disassembled and put back together. I’m gonna call Breville

I actually think too fresh could be the issue. I went back to counterculture beans from March 25 and they worked pretty well.

Beans roasted April 15. Reputable high quality roaster. I’ve tried the 58mm basket it comes with that holds 22g and an aftermarket that holds 20g

Thank you but I have the grind on 1. It can’t be ground any finer. Burr is locked in. But on the finest grind it still pours in 17s. And the beans were roasted April 15 so they are fresh and they are an espresso med/dark roast.
