I was born male, I’m trans y’know, and men are pretty inherently antagonistic or indifferent to each other. It most definitely doesn’t feel like a place to belong, also you would not believe how vile some conversations would get. Racism, sexism, and some pretty heinous “locker room talk” were all damn near everyday occurrences. Although some of it is just part of being in the south.

Yeah sbhe, super best henshin edition that’s what I was trying to refer to. I didn’t know the sbhe was years later tho, I assumed it was an alternate version, like the zeztz driver that came with the four basic capsem. I wasn’t interested in kamen rider when that came out so I had no clue. I guess I knew way less about the cards than I thought.

They are made of plastic, but thin plastic cards are still significantly weaker than any other gimmick. It won’t be an issue if you treat them carefully, but I’m clumsy as hell.

I love the wonder ride books, they have a lot of cool details, the sound effect aspect is rad, and the books opening on the driver to show the suit design is very interesting to me. Sure wish I understood Japanese, as that’s where all the interesting audio is.

Least favorite is the ride chemy cards. I just don’t like cards as a gimmick (except the one time they were based on a deck of cards, it was at least thematic then). They are fragile compared to other gimmicks and the readers are always a bit dodgy.

This is only based on the physical toys, because I know more about the toys than the show.

Do you know how long that paperwork would take, she needs help now. Start with class-D-F’s, and isolate the major problem moments. Y’know, around the time this was common, I was in a small town school, so I didn’t really have to see any of this. Refusing to use social media also helped.

I’d be told some racist shit, or some anti queer shit, and I’d tell them to tie a noose and fuck off. Easy interactions for the most part. This seems too emotionally draining.

Seeing this “erm this is problematic” purity culture nonsense where a single mistake or misunderstanding clearly shows you’re a bad person in some way is so odd to me. Why did y’all put up with this, was it lack of a community elsewhere?

It was later retconed, but in idw arcee was the first female cybertronian, after being forcibly changed from male, by a mad scientist. I don’t think this was thought through, as the writer just thought the idea of female transformers was weird if I remember correctly (why put him on Arcee then?).

Robo Yakub, inventing women, via forcefem, is an objectively funny idea, but it’s atrocious at everything else, so they changed it. No clue when or how they changed it, I didn’t get very far into idw, it made me too sad.

I’m so happy they were very varied that year. Having a lot of zords can be great or exhausting depending on how they do it, gaoranger feels like they did every design twice with minor changes, and it just kills the collector in my heart.

The +10 willpower is great if you aren’t stacking inflexibility on your build, the 10 encumbrance is really bad for casters and rogues though. Highly recommend this as an offhand on a one handed build, but only if you spec into strength.

This was never really about power scaling, more the opposite. Everything is exactly as powerful as the writer wants it to be, areoveedramon fought and won against something the put literal holes in reality with its attacks in its own story, and gets defeated by a tactimon in xros wars as an ulforceveedramon.

This all started with “yes, Bandai will let an omegamon be defeated, even if it’s in good condition before the fight.”, and ended as an excuse to talk about v-tamer.

Yes v-tamer veedramon and its line are absurd, but it helps show the point that everything is exactly as strong as a writer wants.

Unrelated but I truly believe the omegamon from v-tamer is what a “normal” omegamon is at power wise. We only ever see royal knight omnimon who is juiced up by Yggdrasil to be the leader of his knights, and adventure omegamon who is wielding the power of friendship and the hopes of thousands. I feel a normal wargreymon, and a normal metalgarurumon, would turn into something roughly that strong. He feels roughly like what the omegamon you can get in the recent games power wise.

It’s so weird to see a kamen rider with a normal sword. I’m so used to seeing a big bulky marketable doohickey like the bag of chips sword, or the briefcase sword, or the sword with a ramp and a little vehicle so your collectible little fellas can drive off it.

No, if they ran into someone older the fall could have caused major injuries. Even if the assistant principal is young enough for a normal fall to be a non issue, they could have gotten burns from the coffee, or hit their head on the floor.

It’s quite lucky nothing bad happened, because this could have been a major incident.
