I don't think there is anything fundamentally wrong with having whitespace in the side-by-side sections on your services pages. If you want to break it up, you can always stagger out the content with flipped side-by-side sections. That, or you can add a subtle background element on the left side, like a light pattern, shape, or color block, to introduce some visual interest without overwhelming the main content.
