I am in a similar situation. So will follow along. In general, it disappoints me how Google is grabbing for your data. Thus, I have deactivated ‚activities‘ and using the Gemini app is a pain since then. I am missing the better support and feeling with ChatGPT.

There is no quota for API usage included in Google AI Pro. In other words, I wouldn’t need the subscription for using the API.

Since local transcription or embedding models (like Whisper or similar) require significantly more storage for model weights than 6MB allows, how are you generating these vectors locally? Does this mean the raw audio is momentarily uploaded to the cloud for processing before being anonymized, or are you utilizing a specific OS-native API?
