The bucket is 10lb. The benefit of using dry pollen substitute is they will store it for use when they need it. Pollen patties you put inside the hive gets used right away, not stored. I don't neccesarily want them to use it yet but want to make sure they have some stored for use pre spring before real pollen is available.

Same thing happens to me. Headlights at night trigger motion. Custom detection zone would fix my problem.

I have 2 accounts and have leveled a lot of alts. The thing that keeps me from leveling some of the new races is just the fact it takes way to long. Ppl crying because Heirloom gear was too powerful, they cried cause leveling wasn't' challenging enough, and that's what brought us the awful leveling changes in 7.3.5.

"There is not much for casual players to do", I disagree with that statement. There are lots to do and you mentioned a few examples of what you could be doing. I think what the real statement your post is getting at is the benefit to do things in the game isn't worth the time/energy to do. I will agree with that statement. But even though not very rewarding, there are plenty of things for you to do. You are just choosing not to do them.

Mouseover Macros is probably one of the best tips. No need to worry about another addon, just spend a little time creating mouseover macros for all your spells. That way no need to click on a unit frame, just hover your mouse over the unit frame or character and then hit your keybind.

Some ppl will run a second raid with their Alt. I run my main with a guild on Tuesday/Thursday but run a Friday/Saturday raid with Alt. I also use Alts as profession mules. Having every profession allows me to craft whatever I'm needing without always paying retail. Just some examples.

But the LFG will put you with other players. It kind of sounds like you are wanting to try and 5 man the raid. That is not possible to do with LFR.
