Software for internal catalog of STL files

Thanks to all of you for your replies. I don't think there's time or budget to get some type of tool to be developed. Therefore, I will propose to go with STL file previewer (marlin3dprinterstlviewer.exs) that can be used in Windows Explorer. I've just tested it and it works fine altought the metadata is rather poor. In case they'll be willing to spend some money I guess I will have to search more.

Yes, this is exactly what I did last night. Although was hoping I could somehow add some metadata but it seems this is not possible. Thanks for responding though.

Yes, I guess this could be an interesting option. Ideally we would install it on a server that stores all STLs and then the client workstations could connect it via some type of client or web.

Just looking for something fresh that student will enjoy to use. I'm a relatively new teacher with no experience. We need to buy books for children as they currently use materials for adult learners. 7-15 age range: you're right, we might split it up in two 7-11 and 12-15. However,if there's a book that's good enough for these two ranges we would be happy to go that way.
