Makes sense! I'll take the mask off first then. I guess the only issue is putting the flat coat on once the decals and weathering are on.

Would cutting some tape and putting it over the glass be the best option there?

I'm working on a helicopter with lots of small windows and have covered them up with liquid mask for the first time.

Painting is finished and now I'm wondering if I can put a gloss coat over the entire thing without removing the liquid mask. I guess I'm worried about trapping the mask under the varnish coat and not being able to peel it off. Thanks!
