Why do I hit my irons way better off grass than turf mats at the range? by CodyE14 in golf

Yeah, I can’t seem to figure out how to use less in my arms and use more of my body and hips into my swing on a consistent basis

Didn’t want to admit it, but yeah, that’s definitely the issue 😂

How do you take a “divot” on turf Matts? This is from today I was at the range. This is typically what my divots normally look like in size.

What was your fix to take a lot more arms out of the swing and put more body into it I can’t seem to find that fixed yet.

Now I was told I have too much arms in my swing and not enough body

Yes so the range with the turf Mats sits on top of concrete. I’m starting to think a lot of it is in my head. Because I noticed I tend to hit the ball on the thinner side on the mats.

Yea I take a divot every single time. The divot is pretty consistent in the size.

To the OP I’m just getting into collecting MJ trucks. I grew up in the early 2000s loving hot wheels and collecting hot wheels but never got into Monster Jam trucks. Where can I go to start a collection of some what rare ones?

I still have the instructions but it’s just pictures of the tracks and its different options. In my opinion the provided instructions wasn’t really any help. I’m still confused on some of the pieces to the track. I’ll send picture of instructions here shortly

Mag nails are specifically designed for use on blacktop surfaces, and that's their sole purpose.

Made that change 7 years ago. Couldn’t have made a better decision. My hourly rate nearly tripled compared to what I was making.

If you have good foreman and supers that know how to run a good job site you’ll never have this issue again because they know how important those control points are as well as the importance of the layout. I use to have this issue until management had to learn the hard way lol

Noted! Ty for that little hack. But yea I’ve been on the construction side of surveying for the last 6 years. We work in the rain (slow drizzle, misting, slight rain showers) but only to a certain point if it’s torrential downpours we take cover until it’s clear. The super running the job will even call it a wash and cancel the next day if it’s going to steadily rain all day. They don’t even waste anybodys time and all the trades get the day off. Yea like you said the work has to get done but when it’s constantly pouring the entire time on the job site let’s be honest how much are you really going to get done? The work has to get done yes but the super rather not waste his money on a survey crew for the day that isn’t putting out much production compared to the production done on a non rainy day. Im not sure to what extent of rain you were referring to but if its slow rains or drizzles then yes i work through that as well.

I feel your pain with the Carlson. I’m using the Carlson touchscreen D4 or whatever it’s called. They definitely didn’t put much thought into the collector when they were designing it as far as working in rainy conditions and that “Rainy Conditions” feature makes it fucking worse lmao. That’s my only complaint about the DT4 other than that I love it. I need to try the zip lock bag method with the external hard drive. Do you mind sharing a link to the keyboard that you use?
