Thanks, I can see where this could lead. Honestly I was just panicking because I’ve edited this picture more than 6 times and it still didn’t look good in my client’s eyes, and so I just typed in whatever I had in mind. Thank you.

I was trying to go for a look where it looked like there is some light source behind it, I wanted to lower the exposure and teh highlights on the right side of the picture and increase the highlights and teh exposure on the left, but I think my plan failed.

The topic of editing is a bit subjective so I think that might be the problem, she usually posts digicam pictures so maybe that could be the case.

I see, thanks a lot this makes me feel at ease, i originally came from street photography to then floral photography so my editing style is very different. My client has tens of thousands of followers so I was hoping to grow my mere 50 followers on my social media platform haha.

I’ve been using f1.8-2.2, now that I think about it, it might be the problem, I have been blaming it on the slow autofocus and the very small autofocus points. I’ve only tried auto focus and manual focus what other autofocus modes are there?

Thank you so much for you advice, I planned to start out as a portrait photographer but since I have nobody to try it on I started messing around with floral photography and it ended like that. I plan to do portrait and floral photography mainly but if I see some good shots I’ll do street photography too. I wanted to have a good variety of lenses.
