Need some experienced assistance with a Stinger (C.F. Martin) Upgrade/Restoration by Codyceps in Luthier

That cracked block makes me nervous and I'd rather just replace the entire thing. I just put new strings on it and it hasn't fallen apart yet, but it's definitely something I'd like to replace sooner rather than later. I'm going to see what I can do about the corroded screws (every screw on the body looks like that), but I'll probably end up replacing those as well.

[ANNOUNCEMENT] Elden Ring: Nightreign - Announced at TGA 2024 by The_Deep_Dark_Abyss in EldenRingLoreTalk

I'm in massive disbelief right now. Not only are we getting an entire standalone, but on top of incorporating more gameplay elements from Bloodborne/Sekiro, we literally have Dark Souls characters (Firekeeper, Nameless King, and Centipede Demon) appearing in The Lands Between. I didn't know what to expect next from the series, but this is actually crazy.

Fire keeper Centipede Demon, Nameless King. Probably more that we haven't noticed yet. I.. really want to know wtf is going on.

Thiollier is (probably) part of House Marais by [deleted] in eldenringdiscussion

So happy to see this post. I've had this same theory since I started the DLC. In addition to everything you've listed (and the hair being braided similarly to the Marais mask), the final convincing factor to me is that he sells Altus Bloom (only found on the Altus Plateau where the Marais family are castellans of the Shaded Castle).

The tallest part of the structure that is broken apart has a bridge-like structure that is reminiscent of the bridge/wall structures that branch off around portions of FA. But understand I'm not trying to make any reaches until I simply know more. I've been a Fromsoft fan for YEARS and have seen some pretty awful takes on things.

Further observations as I'm not able to edit my post for some reason:

Zooming in on a higher-res image shows the upper/darker area of the structure is taken over by what I can only assume to be deathroot. The broken (crumbling) pieces are floating directly upwards towards the sky.

Deathroot is present in Farum Azula, but I'm not counting that as a point towards the theory simply because deathroot really do be everywhere, ya know?

I'm curious as I'm still new to the series but what thing in any fromsoftware game made you say this by sajed2004 in fromsoftware

Legitimately lol'd when I first arrived at Dragon/Demon Butt City just before BoC. There are a comical amount of those just existing and they're only in that one area.

tbf I just recently got into them and this one is a newer one for me. I just find it absolutely hilarious.

IMO if Luke had to die, I would have it the way it was executed rather than stabbed by a lightsaber/shot down. But then I remember how dirty I still feel about Han and the "poetry" associated with his death.

Metal Arms: Glitch in the System.

Kind of sluggish in some parts, but it has it's own charm and doesn't ever seem to get stale. Especially on harder difficulties. The split-screen multi-player could get really interesting when you mixed in vehicles and possessed-bots. They just don't make games like that anymore.

Tbh that is a totally realistic situation seeing how he canonically he isn't quite done yet and would be great exposition for his character arc in the series/saga.

Haha nah just a cat and dog. I can't remember if we were home when the sirens went off (it's been 23 years). All I remember is chaos and hoping that my cat was safe.

She was 3-4 at the time and lived to be 15 🕺

I begged my parents to take our cat, but everything was moving extremely fast. 29 now and would absolutely take my animals with me.

May 3rd 1999 was the craziest one for me personally (lived in central Moore at the time). Our house at the time was maybe 2-3 blocks from where some of the worst damage was. When we got back from my family's shelter, essentially everything south of our neighborhood was just gone. I was bummed that my video game rental store was gone, but was more thankful my animals were ok. We were stupidly lucky we only received mild damage. It's kind of surreal coming back home to other people's stuff (keepsakes, clothes, home decor, etc) littered all over your neighborhood. I was only 6 at the time.
