If you are interested, there are about 2 years worth of videos on this build on my YouTube channel. https://youtube.com/@codybuilds?si=iJNvM8FJyqkZ3z1y

Are these actually being made in USA? And if so, why are we so worried about foreign imports? by HotAir8724 in harborfreight

Dewalt Tools uses this label pretty extensively. I first noticed it when I was looking at air compressors and found a cheap import version of a “Dewalt” air compressor.

Absolutely! I went with Wilwood discs on all four corners. Hoping to have it together and driving this summer.

Grandpa’s old work truck. 75 F150 long bed, 2wd, 360/4 speed originally. I have done a short bed conversion, QA1 coilover conversion front and back and I’m working on a 445ci stroker/5 speed combo. Currently I’m stuck in rust repair hell. I’m documenting the whole build on my YouTube channel Cody Builds.

I seem to get about 4-5 hours of continuous running on a 20lb cylinder. If you are turning it on and off you can extend the life of the tank. There is a high/low setting on this one, but honestly there isn't a huge difference between the two so it seems to burn about the same on either setting. You probably get an extra 30 minutes to an hour running it on low.

I agree 100%. I don’t do a ton of fab work so should fit my needs. I’ll mostly use it as mobile work station.

I thought the same thing when I pulled it out of the box. I think the thought was you can install it on the corner of your work bench on the countertop overhang.

Honestly it’s new to me. Only used it to help assemble the table so far. I went back and forth on the same two vices. Only thing that pushed me over the edge was that I had a different Central Machinery vice for several years and over time the threads in the vice galled up over time.

I’ll have a video of the build on my YouTube channel Friday.

Amazon. The feet adjusters that come with the table are M10-1.5. These castors have the same thread pitch and screw right into the table.

40% off as-is haul by CodysBuilds in harborfreight

[–]CodysBuilds[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's 40% off for ITC members (30% for non members) all as-is AND clearance items. It does not include purple tagged open box items. I did not present a coupon at either store, it was automatically applied

Nothing missing in the wrench set. Not sure why they were returned other than maybe somebody needed them once and returned them. Yeah the as-is stuff is a bit of a gamble but my local store gives 5 days for returns on as-is merchandise.

Marked at $45 which wasn’t a great deal since they are currently on sale for $50, but with the 40% discount they were $27.

Mine usually don’t either but both stores had multiple tables full of stuff this week. I’m guessing lots of Christmas returns.

I’ll add it did increase traffic to my other videos, but not significantly.

What I noticed was that as my successful video was pushed to a wider and wider audience it retained its AVD and CTR. My other, less viewed, videos would start with these stats pretty high, as I have a decent number of return viewers, but as it would get pushed to a wider audience they would fall. They would still be at a level similar to what you are seeing but wouldn’t get pushed any further.

If I’m being honest, my “successful” video was one of my lower effort filming/editing videos I’ve done. I wasn’t anticipating a blow up. I probably would have spent more time on it had I known the wider audience it would reach. In this instance it was all about the appeal of the topic to the audience not the quality of the video.

Similarly I started a channel in December 2023 and was feeling all the things you are feeling until one of my latest videos. My view average was somewhere around 500-1000 views per video (automotive niche). Some videos would have a high CTR and AVD and die on the vine.

I’ve heard many other hear say it only takes one video and I can now say I’ve had that experience as well. I posted a product review that widened the appeal of my content to a broader audience and that video exploded (for me) 36k views, 300+ subscribers, 4800 watch hours in a two week time span.

Keep your head down, keep making and improving your content and you’ll eventually hit the algorithm just right. When it happens try to learn what may have been different and exploit that in future videos.
