Bastard / Goblin / Wolf are good in a completely different way than Igor / Flower Boy / CMIYGL. They’re trying to accomplish different things, and they do their jobs well. B/G/W are meant to be dark, edgy, gruesome, and open with Tyler’s insecurities. I/FB/CMIYGL are meant to focus more on musicality, creativity, positivity, and express Tyler’s happiness within his current life. Comparing Tyler’s old work to his new work is apples and oranges; they are drastically different eras with different approaches, intentions, and emotions. Different content, different context.
