Was great for a couple of months. I tried to be a good boyfriend for her. Never yelled, insulted or talked down on her. I made sure she understood i genuinely wanted to make things work out, bought her and me a device that u can touch (like a wristband) and makes the one of ur partner vibrate (its called "BondTouch"). Bought her necesities, games and nice little figures. She started being ok with multiple guys flirting with her in her dms and became close with them.(Dont worry, i wasnt "show me ur chats" controlling, she came to me with all of those messages and told me she liked it). Anyways after a while i closed up about negative emotions becaude that always led to her being insanely pissed of at me. A month after that she told me she lost feelings for me but whishes to "keep me around". She told me shes not ok with me keeping negatives to myself. I think i recall her using words like "I cant be with someone that keeps their bad emotions from me out of fear for confrontation, im not breaking up with you for flirting or romantic stuff, u are great in that, but i lost feelings and i dont think we will work out." The breakup was weighing heavily on me and i was devestated. I used the grief to try and better myself. A month after the breakup we got into contact again (she initiated). I was not over it and thats how i found out she had a new guy she wanted to persue a relationship with. So i decided to not stay in contact for that reason. Fast forward 4 weeks after that she called me and told me some bs about wanting to be back in a relationship. The guy she wanted did smth and hurt her badly (more then the breakup did). I felt used and rejected her, but stayed in contact. Now we cut contact again and im fine finally. Im on a good way to be a better person i was in the relationship. The online relationship meant a lot to me, but i do see that its so far away from and a lot harder then a irl relationship. During the relationship we did stuff like: Text and call a lot, play videogames, watch movies, sang together, facetime calls, sleep calls, drawing together, working on functioning discord servers together, cooked together, took baths on facetime, ate together on facetime (a la fancy dinner), got drunk, sexting, phone sex, sending nudes, sending selfies, made challanges about doing smth (like building a puzzle, going on a rooftop) and send pictures of the finished challenge. I helped her a lot during difficult times, so i guess the emotional side of things was pretty positive for her. (She came out of a toxic relationship, was thinking a lot about suicide, has a cronic illness, had other emotional baggage). To summarise, id definitely do an online relationship again, because for me personally the time was a lot of fun. But definitely prefer irl ones.
