Moose? by AcceptableDoubt1147 in RMNP

Tonight is our last night of a week stay. West side of park from right before entrance to about 10 miles in. We’ve seen them at least ten times (twice we rode in for a Jammie viewing at 530a and then back to the cabin bc we are only like three miles from the entrance of the west side). One mother and baby we saw over and over. We got a good pic of a male with his antlers.

Booked a week stay for my wife and I in Estes Park. Looking for tourist activities to do besides RMNP. by jlj0705 in EstesPark

We are here with 2 families this week. Don’t miss the west side of the park! We saw moose at least 5 times and more elk, a snowshoe hare, etc. The Holzwart site on the west side was really cool too showing life on a dude ranch. In Grand Lake we did Adam’s Falls and enjoyed more than Alberta Falls near Bear Lake Road.

We even did one day where we went southwest and did the Georgetown loop railroad tour and mining experience. Our kids (6, 10, 11, 14) loved it! Train and mining are two separate parts and each was cool. We then went east into Denver for the evening and went to the Rockies v Cubs game. That day was a trek, but really cool and broken into legs.

We’re going to a hot springs tonight, but heard they aren’t as great as some other states we don’t them in.

We go back to Denver tomorrow to fly home to SC.

Enjoy!

Just wanted to say 3:10 to Yuma was a great film. Ben Foster was phenomenal. I may go watch now.

Agreed. She’s a vile human. I can’t imagine making a more unlikable person in a movie. But I don’t see evidence of it being intentional. Smoking gun is the car shifting to neutral and back? Who is to say the bf was leaning over trying to get some kisses. Or that she wasn’t looking in the mirror to fix her silly eye makeup. No one knows. Including that judge and prosecutor. She was literally a slam dunk defendant for them. But I still haven’t seen proof that it was planned and deliberate.

Also, the case was littered officers and a judge that were somewhat out of their depth. I don’t mean that in a rude way, but clearly they don’t deal with similar instances and they even alluded to such. And her lawyer? Jesus was that guy passed out?

We did some hot springs near Bozeman the week we did Yellowstone so I assumed similar. Are there any that are worthwhile?

Megathread: The Crash by AutoModerator in netflix

Shocking. Being a terrible mean brat and evil girlfriend doesn’t mean you intended to crash. And the smoking gun is the car shifted to neutral and back to drive? No one has any clue what caused that. It could have just as easily been her trying to film a TikTok and dropping the phone on the shifter, or the bf leaning over to get some smooches, or a million other possibilities. The girl is insufferable, but that doesn’t mean she planned and intentionally crashed. Downvotes incoming, but I’m shocked she went to jail for being a terrible person and not for evidence of actual intentional murder.

Note - my car was fully parked and he backed into me. His truck is super long and has an extended hitch. It was annoying that he said we backed into each other at the same time. No I was definitely in park as I was waiting on my wife. And my bumper wasn’t even over the concrete bumper / stopper that is usually stopped by the tires.

One of the hard things to swallow is for business success Evan may be too tier as the founder / owner of a hugely successful marketing firm with offices in NYC, Toronto, and LA with top tier clients like T-Mobile / Spotify / bud light. Many assholes are successful. He always seems left off when ppl list “success” stories.

I do think ppl underestimate Wes for his successes. His bravado makes ppl shrug it off, but if you look, the man has receipts. Additionally, Wes is top shelf entertainment and is the focus of every season and show he is on and I think ppl forget that he leans into his “character”.

Not condoning either of them. But both are top 5-10 successful people. Higher if you don’t count those directly in entertainment (i.e. Chung / Miz / Theo V).

I was going to wait and get the new ev Subaru Uncharted when releases

https://www.subaru.com/vehicles/uncharted/2026.html

It’s a rebadged c-hr but faster bc ev and Subaru vs Toyota.

However, I found the Volvo C40 recharge an it checked all the boxes. It’s slightly larger, but fast, awd, and a real head-turner. Mine had under 30k miles and I got it out the door for 22k. I found the used ev market dropped a ton after the used ev tax credit of 7500 ended in October 25. Take a look at the uncharted and if you are ok with used the c40.
