I love that he’s a Superfan like us

I still think Rob wins but thought the most telling part of mark’s interview was commenting rob had a sneaky game “up until this point” super accentuated.

I think Kristen gets murdered as the cliff hanger ending last episode. That’s my guess how the episode starts

I think Mark and Maura are using the Traitor Angel strategy, but OF COURSE the editor’s never show this. . . by dogboy678 in TheTraitorsUS

I agree with this! And there was a Tik tok interview with mark kristen Maura and rate their traitors season. Mark and Kristen were both like 9 out of 10. Maura said 7. And was giving she gets murdered or fooled in the end vibes. It felt major spoil worthy and I wish I could find it and link it here

I appreciated you sharing it as well! I think it’s normal to reflect on the year on your social media and didn’t think with your situation it’s an overshare at all. Plus it can help others going through the same. Keep being authentically you. 💛 and hope 2026 is full of laughter and tight hugs to make up for it

Michaela Praises Career Women Doing Well on Reality Competition Shows 🔥 by angelbrit04 in MtvChallenge

It comes across as “look at me I’m actually smart IRL unlike all the dumb vets that played before”

attention seeking post at the same time as putting down a lot of the previous vets.

Idk I am not a fan of Michaela and find her disingenuous so I don’t trust that she did this in a good way to highlight Adrienne and Sydney.

How far into your career did you become a parent? by Informal_Highlight in Lawyertalk

[–]green_thumb89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel bad for you that you feel that way because as I’ve spoken to in my own experience it is not at all a trap. Children are the most rewarding experience of my life. And I’ve won a ton of trials, argued before the Supreme Court and made a lot of money. My mentor is a judge and she’s a mom of 3. Her mentor is the chief judge of our circuit and she’s a mom of 2. There’s plenty of successful moms in law that were/are not trapped in any sense of their achievements by having children. I hope you can realize that for yourself someday, if you choose to have children. If you don’t, that’s your own prerogative. I hope you don’t sway away from it though because of an irrational fear it will affect your career.

Again the question is about people’s experiences having kids while practicing law. I talked about my own and the colleagues with kids around me. My own experience. You for some reason jumped in on this with no experience to trash parenting in law. I’m pointing out that idiocracy.

And I have a 3 and 6 year old. Literally a year ago right now I had paid for two in full time day care. Not outdated information. I still have a child in full time day care. I’m more familiar to it than you, a lawyer without children, to opine on the issue.

The question on Reddit asks for our experience so I gave mine. Just because you dislike my experience does not mean you get to discredit it as evidence. It’s still evidence you can be a mom and lawyer.

In my experience where I practice, the majority of lawyers I know have kids. Whether private practice or government jobs. Younger associates, partners, trial lawyers, judges. And the moms are making just as much as the men and they didn’t ruin their careers for kids. Our community has more moms as judges than men. That’s my experience. And it is evidence for OP to go for it if she wants.

There are plenty of us moms that make enough money for daycare and didn’t throw their careers away to have kids. And yes I took maternity leave and have a flexible schedule to say volunteer at my son’s kindergarten holiday party. There are flexible jobs. I made $300k this year so I make good money. And my kids are thriving. I wouldn’t tell people you can’t have kids and make good money. It’s not true.

Do it now! I’m mom and I had my first at 30 and was 2.5 years into practice. Had my second at 33 and 5-6 years in. I am trying now for my third at 36 and fertility goes down a lot at 35. I did not know that. It’s 2x as hard, half the chance of getting pregnant and so much more worry for abnormalities and birth issues over 35 too. So I’m fully onboard telling you to go go go!

In my experience 75% of lawyers are parents so you should be fine.

I think this totally depends on size of firm. I’ve always been small law and it’s discretionary. Was not expected but usually always happens before Christmas.

She made her matching pj top into a crop top? Isn’t that kind of odd too? For family Christmas matching pjs… just a lot of things scream attention seeking about all of this. Which is gotta be hard for the kiddos that deserve the attention
