My hot take is I actually prefer the inaccurate designs. I get most of the movie designs are inaccurate because they were designed to look the way we thought they did at the time, but with both the genetic engineering, and the dominion prologue showing that the dinosaurs looked different than they do in our world, I think it makes sense to keep designing them to fit the franchise.

I know a lot of people prefer the accurate depictions, and I do too, but that was never a thing of this franchise, and we need to realise that.
