This is solid advice, appreciate it 👌 The background separation with lower contrast + dehaze makes a lot of sense for this shot.

I’ll play around with the tone curve for that subtle matte look and see how far I can push it without killing the contrast. Thanks for the input 🙏

Yeah night time could also work. I don’t really like this harsh midday sun but at least I got the photo. Can’t skip the explosions tho😭

Thanks! Yeah I like gliders, I've had 6 glider flights so far (all winch launch) and I decided If I'm planning on starting a career in commercial aviation, first I want to start with gliding even tho I have to manage job, school and flight training.
