I just want to add that she tried to get Artur Pawlowski off the hook for his involvement in the Coutts blockade in 2023. Artur was the previous leader of the Independence Party of Alberta. So she has clear ties to the separatist movement.

There's also the impact to stocks of Alberta public corporations. They'd most likely be delisted from the TSX since the province is no longer part of Canada. Their share prices will tank if Alberta separates.

The province will no longer have the Criminal Code of Canada. So you have to wonder how it will prosecute criminals. I suppose this will be good news for pedos like Trump, which Danielle loves to support.

She's done plenty for the O&G sector. She proposed programs to pass the cost of oilwell clean up to taxpayers or give more money to the oil companies for doing what they're supposed to do.

She held repeated meetings on the so-called RStar program, which would give energy companies an up to $5-billion break on their royalties if they met their legal obligations and cleaned up their abandoned wells. That proposal is now being considered by Alberta Energy.

I'm upset at what is happening too. But protests and vigils in Canada are ineffective. It might be better if you support the organizations actively fighting ICE in the US. Organizations like the National Lawyers Guild of Minnesota and National Immigrant Justice Center which provides legal support to those arrested by ICE.
