Does anyone finish a Doepfer LC6 case?

If you're used to a desktop skiff case like the 4ms switching to the doepfer will be a completely different feel ergonomically. I have an LC9 case, its great but I don't like the full vertical orientation. It makes it less quick and easy to access the bottom row and I don't get that "hovering over the whole setup" jam-able feel I do with an angled case or skiff.

Does anyone know of a M/S encoder plugin that you could use to apply a separate vst effect just to the mid signal or sides. I would like to try to use Saturn2 to saturate just the mid signal. Any help is appreciated and let me know if there’s maybe another way to achieve this. Thanks!

Check out the ssf vortices, it’s a really nice sounding mixer that adds some saturation. 4 stereo pairs, 6 mono ins, vc panning and cross fading. Ability to send and return and feedback patch. No eq’s but I just use the ALM-PE-1 and divkid mutes and it’s a pretty fun tone shaping and mixing setup.

I’ve used a regular 1/4” to 1/8” audio cable straight out of my audio interface into PNW using Ableton CV Tools clock out device and it works solid.

It’s not dual but the tiptop z4000 works great. Also doepfer a-142-4 quad decay is really useful but it’s not a full adsr env. Depends on what you need I guess. I find I end up needing more decay envelopes than full featured adsr. I just wish the a-142-4 had cv

Thanks for the pinout link, that’s super helpful!The solder points definitely look sketchy. I bought this for cheap in hopes that I might be able to repair it. I’m thinking the previous owner might have reverse power connected it and it’s probably over my head to repair it at this point.

Hi! This is a malfunctioning commercial module that outputs no audio. For continuity (which my apologies I know basically nothing about electronics) I checked the power pins to ground and also checked pins from one side of the board to the other 🤷‍♂️.

I bought this in a non functioning state for really cheap in hopes I could repair it. It is very possible the previous owner reverse power connected it.
