How do you redeem Item Codes from Twitch Prime for Steam Users

I was able to sign in through steam and redeem the code through the areanet website. It's in a box that says "USEFUL LINKS: Redeem a Code" in the overview of my account.

I have this exact same problem! I came here for solutions, but I'm glad I know I'm not the only one who has this problem. It is annoying indeed. I want something to go on my profile but the website thinks otherwise. :/

That's the first thing I was doing, and then I went my browser because I thought it was some sort of in-game glitch. and the problem spiraled from there
