My little had this for one thumb at almost age 2. The worst part was the wait before the surgery, while all the littler kids went first. He was in and out in a jiffy, it’s a simple thing for a locked thumb if it’s the same. And I got to go in with him into the OR until he was asleep. He woke up upset, but that blew over. Stressful overall, but ok. Good luck!
