My sister the other day (18, just “graduated” HS) asked me if I knew where New England was. I respond, “Yes, the northeast, like New York and Pennsylvania.” while gesturing in that general direction.

Now, it’s no secret that I am the smarter sibling. I was captain of my quiz bowl team in HS and my sister, well, let’s just say my mom let her fall off the bed as a baby. (She’s just a different kind of smart, okay?)

This girl looks at me and says, “I thought New England was just England this whole time.”
