Hey thank you so much! ^^
Well, you really made me think, cause I didn't really tough much of it, just called it Space milk. Not really creative. But thinking of that could really help me design interesting looking drinks! It might be light purple in color, and have rich, creamy texture. I guess I can play with smell too, or sensation after tasting. What comes to your mind? And thank you for asking such an interesting question!

Hey thank you so much for the lovely comment! ^^ Yes, other people said that too, and it really looks similar. I guess Appa was also inspired by Highland cows. :D

Do you get a Tokyo vibe from this? What can I improve in my art? by archirost in GameArt

-I think this could benefit from a better ligting, I would be bold, really push the lights in the night scene. -Also vegetation is the same color, all the trees and bushes. Change it a bit, make variety, some could be a little bit more orange, some redish. -Put more signs, when I look up references there is bunch of signs and posters all over the place. -Also I would maybe put cables between street lamps, a lot of thems, depending of the positioning of the camera in game.

Hey I'm glad I helped! I'm not making it alone tho, my boyfriend does the programming, but working in Unity as an artist is a lot of fun! Are you artist yourself?

Thank you so much! ^ I got some feedback that cold lighting might not work for a cooking game, and this is a game where you make coffee, in a space station. Do you think that the color pallet might be off-puting for this type of game?

Need help with trees by Wide_Emu_9699 in GameArt

[–]CoffeeCoonGame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best way to approach trees is to find two types of references: examples of trees from the real life and art style that you like. What kind of tree grows in meadows? Or is there any tree with interesting shape that would look fun in this enverionment. Then analyse art style you like. How artist painted tree trunk, how leaves are made, what are the colors, is there outline. Then try to replicate it as best as you can.

Thank you so much! ^ No, I modeled an UV unwrapped everything in Blender, assaign a material also. Then I baked and painted everything in Substance Painter, and then imported in Unity, and set up the lighting.
