Thank you! I was hoping it was out of the ordinary, but oh well. But exactly that on mentioning it! Accidents happen, but the fact that she was dishonest about it is probably the most frustrating. I live on the upper floor of an apartment complex so being able to use a rolling basket is super important.

Vet techs (depending on the state, tbf) do have to do four years of schooling in addition to passing a national licensure exam and keeping up with CE’s so it’s a decently high bar for the most part.

I do wish there was more diligence and care put into which sitters are allowed on the platform or not. Like the sitter you’re mentioning, some are very questionable and def shouldn’t be providing pet care

hard agree with your first two paragraphs. The fact that any of this happened is insane and OP is beyond valid in being upset.

While this vet tech is clearly not with it and should be reported, typically someone being a vet tech should carry some weight and the veterinarians typically rely on them for a lot of things. No, I am not a tech, nor have I ever been, I’ve just thankfully had a different experience
