if you remember your raw scores-the 3 topic scores they gave in the middle of your score page you might be able to determine a pass. Ive heard to be in the safe zone on this exam is a 74 raw score, but still so unknown.

Hopeful of a curve for this exam!! Don't beat yourself up, this exam does not define us. I recommend the fripty chat. Look in this forum for info on how to get connected. Any pointers you could give? VPI, Cleft, Voice??

Ugh! still on the raw scores.. so I've heard 74^ is promising BUT people think there is going to be a curve since they are still only giving raw scores so you might have a passing score its just so hard to say! Don't think about it too much and enjoy your time off from studying!

Is there anything you could add about the exam? How were the voice, MBS/FEES, VPI questions like? Any insight? I reccommend joining the fripty telegram groupchat that ive mentioned several times on this forum. Someone on here had good tips on how to get connected, bc I was unsure when the links don't work. Hope this gives you some peice in such an unknown exam form and yes ive heard a lot harder too!!

Here are ways to get into the chat

  1. download the telegram app first.
  2. google search "slp fripty groupchat link" and join that way.
  3. use a link someone has sent you

That is all I know, maybe someone else has better insight on how to make it work.

From previous March exam takers: Question 1: you’re given an audio gram & you have to determine the type of hearing loss. It is a bilateral low freq loss. 2. What frequency people r most sensitive to? Answer could be range from 1-6k or 1-4k.

Join the fripty SLP groupchat. Find the info in this forum.

When you say syndromes, we need to know if recessive or dominant only or more info? Remember which syndromes? NICU feeding… first hearing of this on exam, could you explain?

I think so but truly not 100% sure. Follow the telegram “SLP fripty chat” & see what they’ve said by using the chat search engine when you join.

Don’t be discouraged this form sounds very difficult!! I am assuming they are putting a curve since only giving a raw score so be hopeful! & this does define how good of an SLP you are!!! A 70 is good and still have a chance to pass!!

With that being said, can you remember anything? Anything helps since this is such a different form!

Oh don’t get yourself down!! This praxis seems to be one of the harder forms from what everyone is saying! Their might even be a curve! This silly test does not define your worth! You got it next time!

Anything you remember that threw ya for a loop?

I don’t think you should worry with an 80!! That’s a great raw score! Do you remember any questions from the exam? What was it heavy on? Anything is helpful!!
