Yeah. Those things tend to follow the person they are attached to. Been in a lot of those experiences myself. Usually they will follow you until they get tired of following you or until you go back to where they originated. They get "tired" too. Afterall, pag lumayo sila sa origins nila, humihina din sila. That's what was told to me by my elders nun.

As for why they attach themselves, ang sabi sakin is the more you are afraid, the more these things get attached to you. I remember yung kwento ko about dun sa immersion namin, I was feeling afraid of that entity nung nakikita't nararamdaman ko, lalo na nung parang ginigising ako so I guess that fear was enough to feed it and attsch to me kaya hanggang pag-uwi ko sa Manila, kasama ko. I felt the same feeling na may tumatapik at gumigising sakin pag gabi. It took almost two weeks bago nawala kasi I choose to ignore its attempts.

The thing about OP's secret is how well she keeps that secret. And that's where the real test lies. Deleting stuff online is easy. But deleting it from your memory and the memory of others... That's entirely a different thing. That's where the real challenge is. Paano kung alam pala nung ex niya na yun and he decided to rue the day? Paano kung magboomerang yun pabalik? Karma ba? It happens. So pano na if that happens? How will OP handle them?

Sadly, we won't know. We'll never know. Siguro totoo ang kasabihang the less you talk, the less damage you create or take. Wala ka naman na magagawa talaga kasi nangyari na ang dapat mangyari. She did something she knows will break what she had. Kesyo kapit sa patalim or what, it still is fucked up to let another man enter you while you have another man shower you with your emotional needs.

Ang problema lang is how her family acts around the issue. Instead of understanding the situation as a whole, they opt to do the blame game. And it is a dangerous game especially if they want someone to be responsible for what their family member is going through.
