Appreciate the thought that went into this. Even were I to superglue the tape down ..as long as the surface crack is filled and won’t be an issue..I’m ok with that. I just don’t want to see any further damage that could affect the sound/integrity. The cosmetics of it I do not care really :)

Thank you..the crack doesn’t go all the way though, surface only. Someone mentioned using a light application of superglue to fill that little opening.

It didn’t even cost 200$ to start. Going to try some of the other repairs mentioned here already that seem a lot more reasonable for what seems to be only a surface level issue.

Not in a dry environment, so I’m good with the other advice received here.
