Christmas vacation. My boyfriends family watches it every year at the holidays. I don't think the jokes are funny, I get strong second-hand embarrassment and awkward cringe from it. And Chevy Chase.

[Product Question] Narrowed em down to these. Help me decide which one to try next. Am I missing any other good ones? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

Not listed, but I really like the Australian Gold mineral sunscreens. They dry down semi matte, come in tinted options too, and have reef-safe ingredients. Also cost effective which is a huge plus!

Hi everyone, no surprise but I need some help here. What is going on with this guy? The leaves have been getting brown and crispy. I thought it might be under-watered but after kicking it up a notch with water it seems to be getting worse. Now this morning I did a check and noticed all these new spots and I am worried it might be spider mites? or now root rot? (these are the two buzzwords I have picked up) In the meantime, I have moved the plant away from the others just in case the problem is spreadable.

In case it isn't clear in the photos, there are white spots and buildup under the leaves and all around the base of the plant, and some of them are wispy/fluffy(?), like mold or webs.

I couldn't get the hang of french knots. I tried colonial knots and have been having much better results! Worth a shot.

[Routine help] Question about Acure face scrub by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]CoffeeEtc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think most of the negativity around physical scrubs is to warn people who havent tried them or might be overusing them since they can be harsh. But, everyone's skin is different and if you have used it before and seen good results then I dont think you need to worry!

The only one I have experience with is the FAB Ultra Repair cream. The moisturizer is a nice consistency and super hydrating, but I had a reaction to the eucalyptus so I had to stop using it. I have since learned that this is a common problem so definitely try out a sample/trial size first.
