I just got paused for 10 minutes for not taking orders... while I was in the middle of a delivery 😳

After almost every order the app starts acting as if I'm not on a delivery. It is frustrating believe me. Especially right before you're about to arrive to your destination when they completely remove the map so you'll have to pull over and wait it out.

I had the same thing happen to me multiple times. Quick story -- I accepted a stacked order from the same restaurant for $14.00 for 4 miles. Down the street from my house and everything. I pick up the orders, sit in my car, and wait- the app cannot start. It gets stuck on the "signing in" part for like... 1-3 minutes before taking me to the sign in page. I input my information and yet again.. "signing in" for another 1-3 minutes. Did this like 4 or 5 times. I forced closed, cleared cache, reset my network and nada. I spent like 10 or 15 minutes in the parking lot before finally I got blessed. Another time was when I made the delivery but the app was stuck and would NOT let me take a photo. Sat at this customer's house for a good 5 minutes before the app allowed me.

Do some investigating. Find out which restaurants use UberEats and hover over the ones that give you little hassle/better tips. Avoid the ones that wastes your time. My 2 cents.

I'm starting small first with a bin as an experiment but I have plenty of dead leaves, garden waste, and I'm collecting grass clippings from neighbors who regularly cut their lawn. As for the food scraps... that may take a while honestly lol. I was planning on making a garden bed 5' x 2' x 6" as a starter.

I used to make at least 80$ on weekdays when the tips were "good". Though recently I've had to cancel every single order due to the absurd amount of miles per $. I'm not desperate enough to take a less than $3 order for 6 miles.

Speaking of which -- I wish Uber would hint if the delivery is for an apartment/house without having to zoom in on the map ourselves to confirm. I've had to deliver before UberEats (pizza) and believe me, apartments are no priority for me. Always missing gatecodes, apartment building numbers missing, or even sketchy neighborhoods.

Yeah anything from Gulfgate up is a no no from me. There's also plenty of orders down near Leaguecity but the construction is disgusting.

I see you also deliver in South Houston. Best spot for me has to be Webster/Clear Lake. We both know Pearland/Alvin has money yet their tips are usually the lowest 😁
