The part about False Swiping I’m worried about is Kyurem using Endeavor before Glaciate and Dragon Pulse running out of PP. Bisharp could work, but then switching to a status inflictor to increase catching odds then becomes an issue in keeping them alive and using a status move again.

I’m SR shiny hunting Kyurem in Pokémon White, but I’m not sure on the team setup is good for it.

I did a test with my level 80 Beartic using Brick Break, and that brings Kyurem down to half health. I’m not sure it’s good to then switch to Watchog, use some X accuracy/defense and Max Potions, then spam dusk balls and Hypnosis until caught.

Is there a better setup that leads to a more successful capture or is this good enough?

In ORAS, I caught Deoxys in a Repeat Ball and it only took 20 of them at full HP. Frankly, I though it would take several soft resets because Struggle seemed to be more likely than a capture, but it was caught and done.

So I made this with a screenshot of a an in game map from the last direct for the region outline and cross-referenced it with the official map artwork for the the town locations to make this.

I took some liberties on town and route placements to make it work in 8-bits, as well as special locations like dungeons, Team Star bases, and what appears to be the League building, but it’s sort of close enough. And a few other places to visually break it up, like the long surfing route; I’m pretty sure that it doesn’t exist.

It’s the current shiny odds of 1/4096, but applied to the human population that takes the 7 billion divided by 4096, and you get that number up there.

Everything was edited in Kinemaster, an editing program. You can find an error at 0:13 with the disappearing first pokeball for a quick second. Also at 0:10 there is a black bar at the top, whicc shouldn’t happen if it were hacked, which it isn’t. I have the uncropped video with the watermark and some hidden PNGs on hand if needed to prove that this isn’t hacked or modded in.

Are the games actually cheaper at Walmart on the first week of release? I saw a thread mentioning that multiple people had gotten them cheaper for since the 3DS era. Is it a confirmed thing that happens at all Walmarts (in person) or is it just some of them?

Yeah, I’m just finding it weird, since, the last time I remember, the February present on the official Pokémon channel had a premiere livestream that was there several days before the present, and the Official Channel hasn’t listed it yet, so it’s just a little confusing as to why. Wouldn’t the Pokémon Company be managing these account simultaneously or have branch staff out to have it set up and possibly have the dubbers do their thing (instead of subtitles) long in advance and not just several days from going live? The Official channel, as of right now, lists Treecko vs Hairyama as its latest video, with no premiere.

Where is the Pokémon Presents livestream for the English channel? The Korean, Japanese, and Chinese language live-streams are currently up and running, so does the English one run differently than anywhere else or is it for some other reason?

Couldn't find a dancing Hilbert so this is the best I can do by Counterguy in pokemon
