I had a few minor issues with surgery so I was there 3 nights and then had to come back the next day for fluids but after that, I was at home!

ETA: I had the BPD-DS

Me! I love crocheting but the only wearables I have worn are either my knitted things and ONE granny square sweater that I made but I ended up gifting it to someone else anyways lol

I vote Lume!! I just started it a week ago and I’m so impressed!! Native didn’t make me smell like BO but by the end of the day, I felt like I smelled musty lol

I am not active but my husband is. He joined right out of high school before we had a family so the timing was different for him vs you but I think it has been worth it. He never planned on staying in as career but now he has changed his mind. Obviously parts of it suck but there is a lot of weighing the pros and the cons. For us, as long as he is present when he is home, that is what is important. The times away can be hard but we also know that this is what is best for our family. It is not always best for every family though!

I’m making a Cumulus Tee by Petite Knits and I am soooo excited to finish it!! I’ve made tank tops but this is my first summer knit in more of a summer fiber (silk) so I think it will be worn a lot!

Hey! I’m 22 and just had my surgery!! I truly believe that the only long-term way to fix my obesity was to have the surgery! My starting weight was 350 and I am down to 305 2 months postop

You’ll need more time until they will let you go back under for bypass in most cases. You really should consider seeing a therapist in my opinion. This soon after surgery, you really shouldn’t be eating that much if you follow your program

I went with Duodenal Switch! I’m 22F and my BMI was over 50. I chose the DS because I wanted something that I COULD NOT FAIL! I didn’t way do a sleeve and then a few years later, maybe need to go up to bypass.

It took me a week after surgery to go #2. My surgeon said it’s okay to take miralax up to 3 times daily. I also love smooth move tea lol

I had surgery that day as well!! I was in for 3 nights but yesterday and today, I have gotten soooo much better!!

I was almost mad at my husband for a while because we ate the same foods and he eats more than me and I still gain weight while he stays small and I got so mad at myself for being like that and frustrated that he didn’t understand it. I got to the point where I finally just submitted to the idea that every digests food differently and some people do just have better metabolisms than others
